You are invited to volunteer with CSC at Traction, a ministry which models resource sharing such as building The Black Block, a Black economic hub in downtown Pawtucket, RI. We will serve and learn with this ministry by cleaning and doing light maintenance work.

Everyone is invited to the Charles River Esplanade on Friday, July 11th for Free Friday Flix! We’ll be gathering at 6pm to picnic and fellowship before watching Moana 2 at Sundown. Bring your dinner, blankets, snacks, and lawn chairs! Invite friends and neighbors to this event! Please sign up here so we can look out for you and sit together!

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an annual camp where kids (PreK to rising 8th Graders) learn Bible stories, play games, do crafts, and worship God! This year, we are once again teaming up with Pentecostal Tabernacle Church to create this fun experience for children in our churches and the wider Cambridge community. We will offer a family meal beginning at 5:30pm and VBS programming from 6-8pm. Volunteers are needed to lead stations, facilitate groups, lead teens, serve meals, decorate, and more!

The Urban Missions Committee (UMC) is looking for volunteers to help with the annual City of Cambridge Juneteenth Parade on 6/19 (10am-4pm).  Volunteers will provide on-call help as needed for speakers, music, arts and crafts activities in Riverside Press Park. (Tasks might include setting up tables and chairs, providing instructions to participants, distributing food and snacks.)

The parade will begin at the corner of Pleasant St and Mass Ave and will be ending at Riverside Press Park (343 River Street) with music, food, and fun for all ages.

The retreat will be a great opportunity for the entire church community to come together and deepen our relationships with one another and with God. We encourage everyone who considers CSC to be their church to join us!

This is our first overnight retreat and we are excited for the extra time together. We hope everyone will join us overnight (Saturday to Sunday) if possible! However, day options (Saturday Only) are available if needed.

Rev. Lorraine Thornhill, a pastor and spiritual leader in Cambridge, will be our speaker for the weekend!

Our Sunday Service on June 22 will be at Grotonwood at 10:30am. This portion is free for everyone to attend as there will be NO SERVICE happening in Cambridge at 5 Magazine Street.
