The Urban Missions Committee (UMC) is looking for volunteers to help with the annual City of Cambridge Juneteenth Parade on 6/19 (10am-4pm). Volunteers will provide on-call help as needed for speakers, music, arts and crafts activities in Riverside Press Park. (Tasks might include setting up tables and chairs, providing instructions to participants, distributing food and snacks.)
The parade will begin at the Cambridge City Hall (795 Mass Ave) and will be ending at Riverside Press Park (343 River Street) where the City of Cambridge will have a few speakers, music, arts & crafts.
Schedule:
9:45 am – Meet at City Hall before parade
10:00 am – Participate in parade towards Riverside Press Park
~11:00 am – 4:00 pm – Provide volunteering assistance for activities at Riverside Press Park
