Welcome to CSC!

Hello! We're excited to meet you.

Central Square Church was formed by two churches in Central Square that merged on June 19, 2020. Our vision is: "By divine grace, our vision is for every person in Cambridge, Greater Boston, and the World to encounter Jesus and be transformed by God’s love. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we will know God, love neighbor, pursue healing, and seek justice." We are an active member of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) and American Baptist Churches.

During the pandemic, our church building went through a renovation and we opened our doors for the first time on Easter Sunday in April 2022!

We hope that the following answers some of your initial questions, but please reach out anytime to share more about yourself or to ask any questions.

In-person services on Sundays start at 10:30 am. We also have a livestream available on our YouTube channel.

We have two entrances: Green St. (closest to the T stop) and River Street entrance (to the right of the Green St. entrance). The River St. entrance is accessible and stroller-friendly.

Our service generally lasts until 12 pm.

Kids and youth will be part of the service and will be dismissed to Kids Church/Youth Group after musical worship. Pick up time for kids (except nursery) and youth is 12:30 pm. Parents can use the extra time after service to pray or fellowship with others.

Mask Policy: We are following the city’s guidelines about masking indoors. For now, masking indoors at CSC is optional.

Parking: Street parking is free on Sundays (including resident only spots). We do not have a parking lot.

What to wear: Whatever you’re comfortable in! Most people wear casual clothing.
