There are many ways to help out at church—we have something for all gifts and backgrounds! Serving is also a great way to get more involved and build relationships with others at church. We look forward to serving together!
Ministries currently looking for volunteers:
HOSPITALITY TEAM
We believe that we are all called to be hospitable and welcoming, and invite everyone to be part of our Hospitality Team. This Sunday service team seeks to create space for people to be connected and for
relationships to be formed through our greeting, ushering, and setting up fellowship time on Sundays. If you are new, we recommend that everyone start here to get more involved. Kids can serve alongside parents as well!
MULTIMEDIA TEAM
Our Sound and PowerPoint teams need people to help people enter into worship by managing sound and running slides at Sunday services.
KIDS CHURCH
Kids Church is a place where every child can come and learn about God, but also be loved and affirmed for who God made them to be. We are always looking for volunteers in the nursery, PreK/K, and elementary classes.
Currently, we need Classroom Volunteers (1x/month, no prep), 1 Large Group leader (1x/month + prep) and Small Group leaders for Elementary Kids Church (weekly for 30 mins after service, minimal prep).
SOCCER NIGHTS
Soccer Nights is a free annual weeklong soccer camp for kids in Central Square that CSC has co-led for several years. This evening soccer clinic seeks to promote athletic skill, leadership development and citywide unity in neighborhoods throughout Greater Boston. We need a big team with a variety of gifts—everything from hospitality to logistics to coaching! Learn more and sign up.
SPECIAL PROJECTS
We can always use help with IT/programming needs, organizing, building needs, finances, marketing, and social media. Let us know if you have a specific skill or gift to share!
