Workshop: The Future of Central Square
This Sunday May 5, we will be hosting a panel workshop about the Future of Central Square. This will take place after service at 12:45pm in the Upstairs Classroom. We will hear from members of our community who grew up in the neighborhood share with us about Central Square. We will also talk about what our dreams are for the neighborhood and ways we are being invited into shaping the future of the Square. No sign ups necessary, all are welcome to join!
Traction Workday
Next Saturday, May 11, we will be headed down to Pawtucket, RI for a day of service with Traction Ministry, a ministry which models resource sharing through things such as building The Black Block, a Black economic hub in downtown Pawtucket, RI. We will serve and learn with this ministry by moving, organizing, and cleaning.
Sign up here so we can coordinate rides! We will leave CSC at 9am and depart Pawtucket at 2pm.
Soccer Nights is Coming Soon!
Soccer Nights is a free summer evening soccer clinic offered to children ages 5-12 that seeks to promote athletic skill, leadership development and citywide unity in neighborhoods throughout Greater Boston. Last year, we served 200+ children at our Central Square site! Whether as a volunteer or a participant, we encourage you to invite your friends to join alongside you!
