2026 MLK Day of Service & Learning
Join us Monday, January 19, on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day as we help host the 2026 Cambridge MLK Day of Service and Learning! There are 3 ways you can participate with us in this! You can…
- Come join us in the Sanctuary from 2-2:30pm for the Welcome Ceremony!
- Volunteer to help us with hospitality as we host in this space (there are 3 different shifts available). No prior experience (hospitality or otherwise) required! Learn more and sign up here.
- Welcome Session Shift (10-20 volunteers): 12:30-3pm
- Service Project Shift (2-3 volunteers): 3-4:30pm
- Clean Up Shift (3-5 volunteers): 4:30-5:30pm
- Sign up for a service project with the event organizers (Many Helping Hands) from 2:30-5:00pm.
Additionally, we are looking to put together a choir that will perform during the ceremony here in the Sanctuary. If you are interested in being a part of this, talk to Krystal Ray on Sunday!
Traction Ministry Work Day
Join CSC as we partner with Traction Ministry for a day of service in Pawtucket, RI on Saturday January 17! You are invited to volunteer at Traction, a ministry which models resource sharing such as building The Black Block, a Black economic hub in downtown Pawtucket, RI. We will serve and learn with this ministry by cleaning and doing light maintenance work.

CSC 101 / Membership Class
Interested in learning more about Central Square Church and next steps to getting more involved? Our CSC 101 class is coming up on Saturday January 24 from 9am to 1pm at CSC. Registration is open now! There are some videos to watch beforehand, so sign up soon at centralsquare.church/101.
The class is a great way to get to know CSC, connect with our leadership, and learn about our values, history, ministries and more. It is also a prerequisite for becoming a member.
Save The Date: Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is on February 22 immediately following the service. This is a great opportunity to learn more about CSC and how God is at work in our community. Everyone is invited and members are lovingly required to attend and vote. Register by 2/20 for guaranteed childcare: centralsquare.church/annualmeeting
- Budget Q&A Meeting is on February 15 at 12:45pm in the Lounge. Given the time constraints of the annual meeting, we encourage you to join this meeting where the Church Mission Council will go in depth and address questions related to the budget for the new fiscal year. If you can’t attend, you can submit questions to kellie [at] centralsquare [dot] church.
