Join us on Sunday 11/23 at 12:45pm in the Upstairs Classroom for this opportunity to hear from Dr. Daniel D. Lee of Fuller Seminary.

This seminar will examine the historical context surrounding Hitler’s rise to power, including the factors that influenced support among some Christians. It will summarize the experiences and responses of the Confessing Church in Germany during the Nazi period, incorporating perspectives from theologians Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Karl Barth. Considering these historical insights, the seminar will facilitate a shared discussion on the meaning of faithfulness in the present day.

Dr. Lee is a founding Academic Dean of the Asian American Center and an Associate Professor of Theology and Asian American Studies at Fuller Seminary. His published works include Double Particularity: Karl Barth, Contextuality, and Asian American Theology. He also serves as a theologian in residence at Citizens LA Church.
