CSC Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is today in the Sanctuary following the Sunday Service. This a great opportunity to learn more about CSC, how God is at work in our community, where we are investing our resources, and where we’re headed. Everyone is invited, and members are lovingly required to attend and vote. Lunch will be provided beforehand in the Fellowship Hall.
Story of God: Christian Basics
Interested in learning more about the foundations of Christianity? This class is for you! Join us for this 4 week course taught by Pastor Jean! We’ll meet the last 4 Sundays in March at 12:45-2:15pm in the Lounge. This class will talk about the movements of God in Scripture, in early Church history, and in our lives.
Learn about the grand narrative of the Bible and how it points to God’s desire to redeem humanity. You’ll also hear about the formation of the Bible and the theological debates in early Church history that solidified the truths we have today. Everyone is invited – whether you want to know more about Christianity or are interested in the topics. Light snacks will be provided but feel free to bring your own lunch! Ash Wednesday Service
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent – the solemn pre-Easter season of reflection, repentance, and preparation. This year Ash Wednesday falls on March 5th! We invite you to join us for a special Service in the Sanctuary at CSC starting at 6:30pm that day to help us enter into the Lent season together. This service will be more reflective than a typical Sunday service and will include scripture reading, prayer, a brief message, and distribution of ashes.
Lent Worship Night
Join us on Saturday March 8 at 7pm in the Sanctuary for a Lent themed Worship Night! This worship night is hosted in collaboration with Cornerstone Church and Riverwalk Church.
