Join us on Easter Sunday in our church building at 5 Magazine Street!
We are thrilled to share that we have finally been cleared to use our church building and will open our doors to the public for the first time on Easter (Sunday, April 17). Doors will open at 10 am at the River Street entrance and the service will begin at 10:30 am. There will be an outdoor fellowship time at Dana Park (70 Magazine St, 5-7 min walk from our church) following the service. We’ll have pizza, drinks, and an Easter Egg Hunt for kids. Good Friday at CSC–This Friday, April 15: We invite you to be part of the Cambridge Black Pastors Alliance’s Good Friday service, which starts at noon. This service will be at Western Ave. Baptist Church near Central Square (299 Western Ave, Cambridge) and will also be live streamed on YouTube. This service will feature our very own Pastor Johnson! We will also have our last Friday Worship and Prayer Night at church from 7:30-9 pm (enter from the middle door at 5 Magazine Street).
Join CSC Elementary Kids & Families as they Walk for Hunger  
The CSC elementary school kids have been learning about how God interrupts injustice, and we are putting that into action by participating in Project Bread’s 2022 Walk for Hunger. You can join in by walking with us or supporting us through a donation. We plan to leave from 5 Magazine Street on Sunday, May 1 at 12:30 pm. Eat lunch beforehand and bring a water bottle for this 2.5 mile walk through Cambridge, where we will stop at two Cambridge Community Fridges. Everyone is invited. Help us reach our goal of raising $700 to help provide food relief to hungry kids and families in Massachusetts! For more info, email laura [at] centralsquare [dot] church.
Reopening & Sunday Services: Starting Sunday, April 17, we will only offer an in person service and will no longer offer an online service. A few more notes:
  • In-person services will be Sundays at 10:30 am. Doors open at 10 am. Enter from our River Street entrance.
  • Kids and Youth: Kids and youth will be part of the service and will be dismissed to Kids Church/Youth Group after musical worship.
  • Mask Policy: We are following the city’s guidelines about masking indoors. For now, masking indoors at CSC is optional.

Send us your prayer requests, and pray for each other! We wanted to remind you that we have a website where you can share prayer requests and testimonies with the staff, our prayer team, and the church. On this page you’ll also see prayer requests from others at church who want to share their requests publicly — check back regularly so we can continue to pray for each other! During Lent, we will have weekly prayer meetings online on Monday night and Wednesdays at noon, and every Friday night at church. Everyone is invited to join us anytime.
