Baptism Class on 3/8

If you are interested in or want to learn more about baptism, dedication, and/or confirmation, our Baptism Classes are happening on Sunday March 8 after church. The class does not commit you or your child to anything, but is a prerequisite to getting baptized or dedicated during an upcoming Service. Our next Baptism Sunday is planned for April 12th!

Urban Missions Committee Meeting + Soup In The Square

There will be an Urban Missions Committee meeting this Sunday 3/8 in the Preschool Classroom at 12:45pm. Everyone is welcome to attend and learn more about CSC outreach initiatives in our city!

Also heads up that we will be hosting a Soup In The Square on Saturday, March 21 and would love you to join us in volunteering and serving soup to our neighbors! Setup begins at 1:30pm and we’ll start serving soup at 2pm at the Green Street Entrance.

 

CSC Engage Sessions
College Students on March 8

This Sunday, we are inviting any college student at CSC to join us for a CSC Engage session. This will take place at 12:30pm in the Lower Elementary Classroom. Lunch will be provided!

This spring, you are invited to participate in CSC Engage, a church-wide prayer and discernment project about the future life of our church. The staff and Church Mission Council hope all congregants (6th grade +) will participate in a CSC Engage session in which we will pray, share, and discern together about how God is leading CSC to live out our church’s vision.

The three main goals of this project are to:

  • Engage members and attendees of the church in prayerfully seeking God’s intention for our church.
  • Inform the decision-making of the CMC and staff regarding the future
  • Provide congregants with a deeper understanding of each other’s interests, dreams, concerns, and plans as we pursue CSC’s vision together.

Please join us in praying throughout this season, and please plan to join a CSC Engage session! There will be sessions offered at most House Churches, for some ministry groups, and through open invitation meetings after church. Upcoming sessions at church include:

  • 3/8 12:30p; Lower Elem Classroom (College Students)
  • 3/15 12:30p; Lower Elem Classroom (New Attendees <1yr-ish)
  • 4/19 12:30p; Lower Elem Classroom
  • 5/17 12:30p; Lower Elem Classroom and Lounge (2 sessions)
