Ash Wednesday Service – 2/14 @ 6:30pm
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent – the solemn pre-Easter season of reflection, repentance, and preparation. This year Ash Wednesday falls on February 14th! We invite you to join us for a special Service in the Sanctuary at CSC starting at 6:30pm on Wednesday to help us enter into the Lent season together. This service will include scripture readings, prayer, a brief message, and distribution of ashes.
CSC 101 / Membership Class
Interested in learning more about Central Square Church and next steps to getting more involved? Our CSC 101 class is coming up THIS Saturday February 17 from 9am to 1pm at CSC. Registration is open now! There are some videos to watch beforehand, so sign up today at centralsquare.church/101.
The class is a great way to get to know CSC, connect with our leadership, and learn about our values, history, ministries and more. It is also a prerequisite for becoming a member.
Black History Month Celebration @ The Black Block
This Saturday 2/17, from 6-8pm, join our ministry partner Traction and the Black Block Community Foundation for an evening of Spoken Word, Music and a fun time to celebrate Black History Month together! A group from CSC will be headed down to The Black Block in Pawtucket, RI for this event. Carpooling is available so please RSVP here if you can offer a ride or if you need a ride.
Annual Meeting – 2/25
Save the date for the Annual Meeting on February 25 in the Sanctuary following the Sunday Service. This a great opportunity to learn more about CSC, how God is at work in our community, where we are investing our resources, and where we’re headed. Everyone is invited, and members are lovingly required to attend and vote. Lunch will be provided beforehand in the Fellowship Hall.
Childcare will be offered for toddlers and older. Please fill out the Congregational Meeting Childcare form for your child(ren) or youth by Wednesday, February 21 for guaranteed childcare.
