Traction Field Trip

Join CSC on Sunday November 5 for an experiential and immersive experience to learn about our ministry partner Traction!

On this trip you will learn how Traction founder Leslie Moore and others are radically applying the Traction model of resource sharing to build a Black economic hub in downtown Pawtucket, RI. There will be a tour of the Black Block led by Leslie which includes a performing arts center, mini-mall, indoor park, housing and properties still being developed. We will also spend some time imagining what sharing our lives, social networks and resources could mean for us collectively and individually.

RSVP online and sign up to give or receive a ride. We will leave from CSC at 1pm and plan to arrive in Pawtucket at 2pm.

Selah: Pause & Praise

Join us on Friday 11/17 for an evening of contemplative and immersive worship. This special worship night will take place in the Fellowship Hall at CSC and begin at 7:30pm. We hope to see you there!

Community Lunches

This fall, we are focused on building Life Together as a church community and deepening connections with one another. So, on November 19, the entire church is invited to have lunch in small gatherings at church members’ homes in or near Cambridge! We hope to help people connect across different demographics and let people engage in more intentional ways over a meal. You are invited to gather, eat, and get to know other people in our church community!

We recognize it can be hard to meet new people but we encourage everyone to participate and take this time to break bread together! Lunches will start at 12:45 PM at different homes and will last around 2 hours. RSVP today at centralsquare.church/lunch.

Sunday School

Pastor Jean and Myron Poon will take us through CASKET, a teaching tool created by Dr. Carol Kaminski at Gordon-Conwell to help understand and remember the Old Testament. It goes through an overview of the Old Testament, and shows God’s redemptive plan throughout Israelite history. Join us on Sundays from 12:45-2:15pm in the elementary classroom from October 22 to November 12! More info can be found here.
