New Sunday School! “Shedding Perfectionism and Finding Joy in our
Work”—Nov. 20 at 12:45 pm: In our lives as students, professionals, and
disciples of Christ, perfectionism can be a roadblock to joy and real
“productivity”. This session, led by Chandra Mallimpalli and Beverly Chen,
describes how perfectionism rears its head in our approach to our work
and in twisted notions of what it means to please God. It then discusses
what scripture calls “life in the Spirit” as a path out of perfectionism and into
the abundance that comes through grace. Class meets on Nov. 20 from
12:45-2:45 pm in the elementary classroom (upper level).

James Sunday School—Sundays at 9 am: “Face in a Mirror: A Bible Study
in the Letter of James” will discuss how merely hearing the word and not
doing what it says is like looking at ourselves in a mirror and immediately
forgetting what we look like. We will meet every Sunday until Nov. 20 in the
elementary classroom (upper level) from 9-10:15 am. Attend one session,
