Soccer Nights 2022 – CSC is so excited to team up with Pentecostal Tabernacle church to offer Soccer Nights in Central Square again this year! Soccer Nights is a free annual summer evening soccer clinic offered to children ages 5-12 that seeks to promote athletic skill, leadership development and citywide unity in neighborhoods throughout Greater Boston. This year the Central Square site will be June 27th – July 1st at Hoyt Field from 6-8 PM. Volunteers: last chance to sign up and attend the mandatory training session TODAY at 12:30 at Dana Park – Pizza will be provided. Volunteer or register your child at centralsquare.church/soccernights.

 

Prayer + Fellowship: Join us on Fridays at 7:30 pm as we come together to meet the Lord in prayer and in worship. Enter through the Magazine St. entrance (this is different than the entrance used on Sundays). This Friday on June 10th, after our night of prayer, we will spend time in fellowship with one another at Toscanini’s, arguably one of the best ice cream places in Cambridge. If finances are a barrier, connect with Pastor Jean on the way over. We hope you can join us for an evening of prayer and fellowship!

 

Church Anniversary Celebration: Central Square Church is turning TWO! Join us for a special fellowship time after Sunday service on June 19th to celebrate our second anniversary as a church! We will enjoy a meal together in our new building.

 

Baptism Service and Class – We have a baptism service coming up on July 17th! If you would like to participate in the baptism service, please sign up and attend the relevant class listed below on Sunday, June 26. The class does not commit you to anything, but is a prerequisite for participating in a baptism service. Email admin [at] centralsquare.church to RSVP, learn more, and get class info.   • 12:15 pm in the Nursery: Infant baptism or dedication class
  • 12:45 pm in the Lounge: Youth baptism or confirmation of baptism class
  • 1:15 pm in the Lounge: Adult baptism or reaffirmation of baptism class

 

CSC 101 / Membership Class: Save the date for our next CSC 101 class on Saturday, June 25! Whether you’re new and want to learn more about Central Square Church, or if you consider us your church home and you’re on board with our vision, you’re invited to take CSC 101! This is a great opportunity to get to know the church better and is also a prerequisite for becoming a member. The class will be held at the church from 9-1 PM. Breakfast and lunch is provided. Couples Connect: Married Couples Large Group – Join us for Session 2 on Monday evening on June 13 over Zoom. Families Ministry is hosting a series of 5 sessions for married couples at CSC to connect, be encouraged, and put faith into practice. Drop in for one or as many sessions as you can! Looking for ways to serve? We have some opportunities you may be able to help out with – join one of these ministry teams and get to know others at CSC while you’re at it!

– Hospitality Team: contact Pastor Jean (jean [at] centralsquare [dot] church) and join a team that helps make Sunday services run smoothly and feel welcoming, and also helps create space for relationships to be formed.
– Multimedia Team: contact Pastor Jason (jasonyung [at] centralsquare [dot] church) if you’re interested in helping navigate a/v equipment for Sunday services
– Soccer Nights: contact soccernights [at] centralsquare [dot] church to help out with this free weeklong clinic in the summer to serve the youth in our neighborhood, sharing the joy of sport and teamwork. Volunteers should plan to attend one of the following sessions on June 5 at 12:30pm.
