Overnight Church Retreat

We are headed to Grotonwood for an Overnight Church Retreat! Join us on Saturday 6/21 to Sunday 6/22 for CSC’s first ever overnight Church Retreat! This will be a great opportunity for the entire church community to come together and deepen our relationships with one another and with God. We encourage everyone who considers CSC to be their church to join us!

Registration closes Thursday 6/12. You can find all kinds of information on cost, scholarships, food, kids/youth programming, transportation, accommodations, activities, etc. on the Registration Page!

Sunday Service on June 22 will be held at Grotonwood at 10:30am. There will be NO SERVICE AT 5 MAGAZINE ST that morning.

 

Peace Workshops

Our final Peace Workshop is happening on Sunday June 8 12:45pm. Come hear Tufts professor Dr. Natasha Warikoo on the topic of Affirmative Action & DEI.

 

Final Call for Soccer Nights Volunteers

Soccer Nights (June 23-27 at Donnelly Field) is a free, summer evening soccer clinic offered to children ages 5-12 that seeks to promote athletic skill, leadership development and citywide unity. We need a big team with a variety of gifts—from hospitality to logistics to coaching!

  • Volunteers: Sign up online & attend a mandatory training on Sunday, June 8, 2:30-4:30pm at Donnelly Field.

Cambridge Juneteenth Parade

Everyone is invited to celebrate Juneteenth (Thursday 6/19) with CSC and the City of Cambridge! There will be a parade procession at 10am starting across from City Hall and ending at Riverside Press Park where there will be celebrations (music, fun, food) until 4pm. All are invited to show up, hang out, and celebrate as a community.

Additionally, volunteers are needed and CSC will be forming a group to help out with activities at the park. If you are interested in volunteering please sign up on this form. We will provide help with setup for activities in Riverside Press Park. Tasks might include setting up information tables, distributing food and snacks, setting up family games, etc.
